Find Parking: Winter Stations Art Exhibition Reimagined as Spring Stations at the Distillery District

1 min read

One of the Greater Toronto Area’s favourite art exhibits is back in business! Launched in 2014, Winter Stations is an international design competition held annually in Toronto. Participants are tasked with designing temporary art installations incorporating the existing lifeguard towers spaced across the city's Kew and Woodbine beaches. This competition has seen entries from over 90 countries, bringing the world of design to Toronto's waterfront each winter.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions preventing this event from happening during its usual time, Winter Stations has now been reintroduced as Spring Stations. Winning artwork from the winter display will currently be featured at two popular downtown locations: The Distillery District and 33 Parliament Street.

This event aims to provide residents of the GTA with a safe, outdoor activity to enjoy. This is a free event that has been tailor-made to attend while social distancing.

Be sure to check out these impactful and inventive art exhibits from May 21 to late June at the Distillery District and 33 Parliament Street.
