Enhancing The Parking Experience At Prince George Airport With Skidata Technology

Prince George Airport is an international airport that serves Prince George, a city in northern British Columbia and the surrounding area. Managed by the Prince George Airport Authority (PGAA), their mission is to operate a safe and secure airport focused on providing quality and customer-oriented passenger facilities and services. The PGAA is dedicated to building an airport that supports the needs of the region's residents, facilitating growth in tourism and industry, all while attracting air services considered necessary for this continuous growth.
In 2006, the PGAA selected Precise ParkLink as their technology provider. With the customer experience being a key focus for the Prince George Airport, Precise ParkLink worked to develop a parking program that would successfully meet the needs of their visitors using automation.
Over the years, PGAA has made it a priority to remain current and enhance their parking systems with upgraded technologies to meet their evolving business and customer needs effectively. In 2010 they upgraded Precise ParkLink’s initial installation of Pay-and-Display parking meters to the latest generation of Pay-by-License-Plate meter technology. And today, after a partnership with 16 years in the making, PGAA has decided to take its parking experience to the next level with Precise ParkLink’s gated parking technology.
