For immediate release.

In partnership with Precise ParkLink, Niagara-on-the-Lake has undergone a parking technology upgrade in time for the Town's highly anticipated summer season. Located in the heart of Ontario's wine country, Niagara-on-the-Lake is a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike.
In May 2024, the Town began deploying new Pay-by-License-Plate parking meters in the Heritage District along Queen Street, following a gradual upgrade schedule to ensure a smooth transition. The new parking meters offer various payment options, including coin, credit, debit and mobile tap payment, as well as Precise ParkLink's mobile parking platform—Parkedin™.
Whether it’s via Guest Checkout on Parkedin.com, or on the Parkedin™ mobile app for registered users, the platform allows residents and visitors to easily pay for parking from a mobile device. For visitors who are unfamiliar with Parkedin™, there is also the option to scan the QR code on the parking meter or nearby signage. Each location is associated with a Zone ID that is to be used when paying for parking via Parkedin™.
"I would like to thank the Town Staff for their collaborative efforts in acquiring new parking machines for our Heritage District. These machines are expected to enhance customer service, improve convenience, and elevate the visitor parking experience. I look forward to seeing these machines in use and appreciate Precise ParkLink for their efficient rollout." said CAO of Niagara-on-the-Lake Bruce Zvaniga.
Committed to ensuring the new system's success, Precise ParkLink will manage the municipality's parking infrastructure, allowing them to meet and exceed their resident- and visitor-focused parking needs. Terry Faye, Account Executive at Precise ParkLink, explains, "Niagara-on-the-Lake is a well-known tourist destination, increasingly during the summer months. We are thrilled to have partnered with the Town to install new user-friendly parking meters to create an easy parking experience and allow the Town to continue managing parking availability and capturing incremental revenue effectively."
Precise ParkLink will continue to support the Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake's parking operations and its residents and visitors during the transition period and beyond.
