The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is a quaint, waterside county known for its scenic views and lush landscapes. Situated near the Bruce Peninsula, the area is a popular destination for visitors near and far, especially within the summer months. Since May 2018, the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula has been a valued partner of Precise ParkLink, choosing to rely on our parking technology solutions to manage and control parking during their busy summer season.

Prior to having Precise ParkLink regulate their parking, the municipality faced a series of challenges during their high seasonal visitation months spanning May to October. The influx of visitors and demand for parking during these months caused significant congestion in many of the municipality's most popular destinations. This also hindered the opportunity to capture seasonal revenue.

As a result, the municipality chose to partner with Precise ParkLink to manage their on-street parking program. The installation of Pay-by-License-Plate parking meters lining the streets has made it easier for the municipality to manage parking availability and capture incremental seasonal revenue. Committed to being Northern Bruce Peninsula’s parking solution provider for the past three years, Precise ParkLink has supplied, installed, and continues to manage the municipality's parking infrastructure, allowing them to meet and exceed their resident visitor-focused parking needs.

In April 2021, Precise ParkLink installed an additional batch of DG7 Strada meters throughout the municipality. Installation locations include Lions Head Marina, McCurdy Drive, Dunks Bay, 60 Carter Road, Borchardt Road, Dyers Bay, Tobermory and more.

In addition to parking meters, Northern Bruce Peninsula plans to launch  Parkedin™ this upcoming summer season—a mobile parking payment and reservation platform-- making it easier for visitors to manage and find parking. Parkedin offers customers a quick mobile scan-to-pay option. Frequent visitors and those who wish to reserve parking can download the Parkedin mobile app. The municipality will also integrate SecurePark cloud-based enforcement technology into the parking infrastructure to ensure a seamless parking experience for both residents and visitors.

Terry Faye, Account Executive at Precise ParkLink, states, "The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula has been a valued partner of ours since 2018. Since then, we have implemented a unique parking and management solution that has capitalized on seasonal revenue during peak visitor months. The area has only grown in popularity, resulting in a growing need for additional services, including metered technology, Precise ParkLink’s Parkedin mobile platform and cloud-based enforcement. Our 30+ years of managing municipal and government contracts across Canada makes us a knowledgeable and reliable asset to Northern Bruce Peninsula.”

Precise ParkLink is committed to supporting the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula’s parking and mobility operations. We look forward to continuing to meet and exceed the needs of the Northern Bruce Peninsula, its residents and visitors for many years to come.
