The Town of Whitby Undergoes Parking Technology Upgrade

The town of Whitby is an established community of over 130,000 residents located on the north shore of Lake Ontario in the Durham Region. Known for its many parks, picturesque waterfront, and historic downtown, the town is a popular destination to live, work and play. For over 12 years, the Pay-and-Display parking system has proven to be a success within the community. To remain on par with current and future payment processing procedures, the town launched a fully upgraded system in March 2023, comprising S5 Pay-and-Display parking meters, with the help of Precise ParkLink. The new parking meters provide ultimate reliability and flexibility and make parking easier for residents and visitors, with smart interface experiences, advanced hardware and software, and secure payment capabilities.
