Health and Safety Policy

The Senior Management of Precise ParkLink is committed to the health and safety of its workers and all who are involved in our projects. We recognize that all workers have the right to work in a safe and healthy work environment. The protection of workers from injury or occupational disease is a major ongoing objective. Senior management is committed to setting and reviewing Health and Safety objectives, and to the continual improvement of the Health and Safety Management System and Health and Safety performance. All senior management, supervisors, and workers must be committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment to prevent injuries and illnesses.

Our philosophy is that the well-being of our company and clients is dependent on the health and safety of our workforce. We are committed to providing a safe work environment that promotes occupational health, including communicating with all workers about the policies and procedures reviewed annually. No job is to be regarded so urgent that time cannot be taken to do it in a safe manner. The welfare of the individual is our greatest concern.

Managers and supervisors are responsible for the health and safety of workers under their supervision. Managers and supervisors are subject to various duties in the workplace, including ensuring that machinery and equipment are safe and that workers comply with established safe work practices and procedures. Workers must receive adequate training in their specific work tasks to protect their health and safety.

All managers and supervisors, workers, and subcontractors must protect their own and fellow workers’ health and safety and are committed to working in compliance with the applicable health and safety legislation of the province in which they work, as well as all applicable regulations, safe work practices, and procedures established by the Company.

Senior Management is committed to working jointly, in a spirit of consultation and co-operation, with all workplace parties on the development, review, and annual implementation of our health and safety program. We recognize that a safe work environment can be established and sustained only through a united effort by all workers and that the assistance of each person is required. Your attitude and cooperation in promoting accident prevention will assist in achieving our goal: “no one gets hurt”, and make our Company the best place to work, one where workers share in corporate growth and success.

Incidents can be prevented through effective management combined with active employee involvement. Safety is the direct responsibility of all managers, supervisors, and outside contractors.
