Job Summary:
Overall responsibility for the safe carriage of passengers, maintaining a clean and safe curbside area, and a high level of customer service. Shuttle driver to report to operation manager and supervisor on duty.
Location: 2625 Airport Dr, Saskatoon, SK
Employment: Full time
Compensation: Hourly, $20.46 per hour
Mandatory Qualifications:
Clean driving record. Drivers abstract to be provided to Precise Park Link.
Shuttle Drivers must have an appropriate Saskatchewan driver’s license class 5 and must have had a valid Saskatchewan or Canadian driver’s license for a minimum two-year term prior to employment
Ability to effectively handle customer concerns and complaints
Answer customers’ questions and provide information on policies and procedures
Knowledge and understanding of use of vehicles
Willingness to work shift work
Physical ability to lift luggage on and off the shuttle
Physical ability to assist guests requiring accessibility assistance
Ability to establish priorities
Computer skills (Microsoft Office and its applications)
French language an asset
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Report for shift on time, wearing an approved uniform, including nametag, and projecting a clean, neat, and tidy image.
Carry out duties in conformance with applicable policies and standards
Perform a daily maintenance check of assigned shuttle bus to include a visual inspection for damage and cleanliness. Check and maintain all fluid levels and proper tire pressure. Report to COG Supervisor, as applicable, any service requirements
Log any damage/need for maintenance
Clean or tidy the interior and exterior of your bus in accordance with established guidelines
Pick up customers at parking lots or terminal locations as and when directed
Follow designated route
Between shuttle trips, monitor curbside and parking lots for any outstanding issues.
Litter cleanup on sidewalks, shuttle pickup areas, and throughout all parking lot areas.
Snow cleanup & shoveling of sidewalks, pedestrian walking paths, and shuttle pickup areas.
Monitor taxi pickup & drop off areas and direct taxis and commercial vehicle traffic as necessary.
Maintenance and repair of parking payment machines, ticket dispensers and gates.
Assisting at the parking office with answering phones and addressing customer concerns as needed.
Provide friendly and courteous service to the customers and assist with luggage that max slightly exceed a weight of 50 pounds.
Complete and hand out row slip reminders to customers
Inquire of customer’s destination
Operate your bus in a safe manner, adhering to all provincial and on-site driving regulations
Practice defensive driving at all times
Maintain vehicle log as required
Provide prompt Airside assistance, when required
Document any customer concerns and incidents and report them to the COG Supervisor
If involved in a motor vehicle accident, immediately contact the COG Supervisor for direction and assistance. Provide a full and complete written report to the COG Supervisor
Maintain current knowledge of all Skyxe parking products
Curbside cleaning including litter pick up and sweeping
Snow removal/winter sanding
Other duties as assigned
