Job Summary: Overall responsibility for a high level of customer service, maintaining tidy, safe and walkable sidewalks and walking paths throughout all seasons, directing commercial vehicle traffic within the airport, and ability to troubleshoot parking equipment.

Compensation: $16.17 hourly
Mandatory Attributes:
Excellent oral communication skills.
Ability to provide value-added options to customers in a professional manner.
Answer customers’ questions and provide information on policies and procedures.
Ability to effectively address customer concerns and resolve complaints.
Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of personal data.
Knowledge and understanding of use of all equipment.
Willingness to work shift work.
Physical ability to assist guests requiring accessibility assistance.
Computer skills an asset. (Microsoft Office and its applications.)
French language skills an asset.
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Report for shift on time, wearing an approved uniform and projecting a clean, neat, and tidy image.
Carry out duties in conformance with applicable policies and standards.
Direct commercial vehicle traffic on the airport curbside, including but not limited to taxis, shuttles and busses.
Curbside support during peak times with keeping the public curb moving and coordinating taxis.
Curbside cleanliness, litter clean up throughout parking lots and walking areas.
Snow shovelling, snow removal using blowers or walk-behind equipment, sanding walking paths for ice throughout all sidewalks and walking paths.
Keep careful records of any unusual tickets or operational problems that occur during shift in accordance with applicable procedure.
Answer telephone and radio inquiries.
Answer intercom system for customer assistance as required.
Document customer concerns and report them to COG Supervisor.
Monitor Skidata entrance gates and report problems.
Answer all customer inquiries via all contact mediums (Phone, Email, Intercom.)
When required assist customers with usage of online booking resources.
Maintain knowledge of all YXE parking products and rates.
Verifying customer’s flight information (return date and time.)
Entering information into computer system quickly and accurately.
Dealing with customer concerns & completing incident reports when required and informing appropriate COG Supervisor and management members.
Other duties as assigned.
