Job Summary: The Patrol Officer reports to the Patrol Manager and is to ensure that all dashboard tickets and parking permits are valid.

Location: 100 Floral Parkway

Employment: Full time

Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Compensation: $20.00 per hour

Mandatory Qualifications:

  •  Must have a valid G license and a clean drivers abstract

  • Must be punctual and self disciplined

  • Must be polite and have professional attitude

  • Positive, friendly, enthusiastic, energetic and personable

  • Ability to work independently and in team environment

  • General knowledge of computers

  • Security license or experience preferable

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Review and understand daily scheduled routes prior to dispatching for shift

  • Review dispatch email for any client requests/ check calendar for any events

  • Respond directly to client requests for enforcement in a swift and timely manner, communicate with client to confirm receipt and debrief once call has been attended to

  • Inspect vehicle & required devices prior to departing for shift; report any issues to manager immediately

  • Follow procedures regarding log sheets/ recording site visits

  • Carefully check expiration date/ time of parking receipts displayed on dashboards, as well as approved hangtags where applicable

  • Run plates through enforcement software at applicable sites to confirm registration

  • Ensure accuracy in issuing infractions (correct information on ticket)

  • Ensure devices are returned as they were taken, and placed back on charging units for next shifts

  • Arranging towing of vehicles where applicable, under By-Law regulations

  • Ability to work outdoors, within a sheltered garage environment

  • Mandatory health & safety training required to be completed upon hire

  • Litter pick up and general maintenance of parking equipment

  • Other duties as assigned
