Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Curb Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will support curbside operations by directing traffic, assisting customers, maintaining safe and clean pedestrian areas, and responding to parking and access inquiries. You will also monitor parking systems, address customer concerns, and help ensure smooth and efficient daily operations at the airport.
Location: 2625 Airport Drive, Saskatoon, SK
Employment: Full-time, flexible scheduling, includes day, evening and overnight shifts, some weekends are required.
Hours: 30-40 hours/week.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
Direct and manage commercial vehicle traffic on the curbside, including taxis, shuttles, and buses.
Maintain cleanliness of curbside areas, parking lots, and pedestrian walkways (litter pickup, general upkeep).
Snow clearing, sanding, and ice control on sidewalks and walking paths using appropriate equipment.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, intercom, and in-person interactions.
Monitor parking equipment (e.g., entrance gates) and report operational issues.
Answer radio and telephone communications as part of daily operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Present a professional image and report to work in uniform, ready for duty.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public.
Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work shift schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical capability to perform outdoor duties in all weather conditions and assist passengers as needed.
Ability to follow procedures, policies, and directions from supervisors.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and related systems considered an asset).
Valid class 5 drivers license required.

Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as snow clearing, walking/standing for extended periods, and assisting passengers.
