Sandman Hotels, a subset of Northland Properties, have been parking partners with Precise ParkLink for over 10 years. We currently manage the Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre and numerous other Northland Properties locations.
Challenges and Goals
The Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort was seeking a parking solution that would deter motorists from taking advantage of its available parking. The goal was to increase both parking revenue and the functionality of the parking equipment, as well as significantly reduce the frequency of unauthorized parked vehicles.
The Result
As of June 1, 2018, the Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel & Resort decided to partner with Precise ParkLink to help overcome its parking challenges and increase its parking revenue. To do so, the hotel decided to manage its 862 parking stalls with our DG7 Pay-by-License Plate parking meters. It also opted to install extensive parking signage, implement staff and long-term visitor monthly parking permits, and our Whoosh! Pay-by-Phone parking application.
