International Women’s Day

An equal world is an enabled world. To mark International Women’s Day on March 8, Precise ParkLink is celebrating women’s achievements and raising awareness against gender bias by sharing some inspirational words from a few of the exceptional women who work here.

“It’s important to welcome change instead of holding onto the past. Be eager to learn and self-educate, and don’t just stay in one place. Let go of your ego and be flexible, rather than let yourself be held back by self-doubt. Surround yourself with people who are smarter than you instead of protecting your prominence. Start being a leader and motivator before you’ve been given either title. That’s how women — and men, for that matter — will be successful in the workforce.”

— Maria Lato, Marketing Manager

Headshot of Melissa Tucci

“Working in a male-dominated field is intimidating, but don’t let that stop you from branching out even further and leaving your comfort zone. Sometimes the greatest opportunities present themselves when we put ourselves in uncomfortable situations.”

— Melissa Tucci, Client Relations Manager

Headshot of Cynthia Bruce

“Share what you know and the lessons that you've learned; it’ll make all of us stronger when we share what we have and what we know, rather than thinking we need to keep all of our knowledge and information to ourselves to make ourselves stand out. Always come from a place of grace and graciousness, and don't be afraid to apologize when you don't. Invest in yourself and in others. Explore something completely different every once in a while. Lift people up. Make sure they know their worth, that they’re valued, and that they’re appreciated. Self-care can never be overstated; you need to take care of yourself in order to be able to perform at your best for others.”

— Cynthia Bruce-Baker, Senior Proposal Writer

Headshot of Iman Mounib

“International Women’s Day is about celebrating and recognizing the achievements of women in every industry and in all aspects of life. And I see that every day, at home and at work. I see it with my mother, whose intelligence and kindness and ability to wear so many hats while working and raising three children inspires me. And I see it with the women I work with. They’re incredibly intelligent and hardworking individuals, excelling in their careers all while pushing and inspiring everyone around them to do the same.”

— Iman Mounib, Marketing Coordinator
