The Town of Wasaga Beach is a growing community of over 23,000 residents nestled along the shores of South Georgian Bay in Simcoe County. Home to the world's longest freshwater beach, the Town of Wasaga Beach has been hailed a popular destination for cottagers and vacation goers during the summer months, as well as an ideal community for people of all ages to live, relax and thrive.

Since 2010, the Town has been a valued partner of Precise ParkLink, relying on our parking technology solutions to manage and control parking during their busy summer months. For over 12 years, the pay-and-display parking system has proven to be a success within the community. With the help of Precise ParkLink, the Town launched a fully upgraded system in May 2022, comprising Cale pay-and-display parking meters. The new parking meters provide ultimate reliability and flexibility and make parking easier for residents and visitors, with smart interface experiences, advanced hardware and software, and secure payment capabilities. The new technology enables the tourist hot spot to manage parking availability and capture incremental revenue.

Committed to ensuring the new system's success, Precise ParkLink will continue to manage the municipality's parking infrastructure, allowing them to meet and exceed their resident- and visitor-focused parking needs. Paul Banyard, Account Executive at Precise ParkLink, explains, "For over 12 years, Precise ParkLink has worked alongside the Town of Wasaga Beach to develop a parking program that has allowed the Town to capitalize on revenue and alleviate parking congestion. Our 30+ years of managing municipal and government contracts across Canada make us a knowledgeable and reliable asset to Wasaga Beach. To date, this program has successfully met the needs of residents and visitors during their peak tourist months."

Precise ParkLink will continue to support the Town of Wasaga Beach's parking operations, its residents and visitors for many years to come.
